Become a Member

SPR Active membership is by nomination only. To be considered, applicants must be nominated by a current SPR member in good standing, complete the membership application, and pay annual dues. The nomination period runs annually from May 15 to July 15.

Journal Access

Members receive complimentary access to Pediatric Research, the official journal of SPR, the American Pediatric Society (APS), and European Society for Paediatric Research. 

Membership Categories

Individuals actively engages in independent, ongoing hypothesis testing basic, clinical, translational or other investigations in pediatrics.

Individuals currently enrolled in or recently graduated from established fellowship programs related to pediatrics in an academic institution.

Emerging to Established (E2E) Members may self-nominate year-round. Visit the E2E Section for additional details. 

Individuals who are former SPR members and are now retired. Executive Council may grant Emeritus status to a Member in response to extenuating circumstances.
